Works For Me: Toothpicks and Chocolate

Sometimes adding a little special twist to the same old boring foods is all it takes to get my kids excited about eating them again.

Bananas?  Again?  No...not just any bananas... chocolate bananas and you MUST eat them with the toothpick!  There you have it-  3 entire (almost too ripe to eat) bananas, GONE in a flash!

It's not the first time that toothpicks have come in handy around here.

Head on back to We Are THAT Family for more great hints and tips...

My mom use to do things like this... and yes, I do them now! Like my boys are sick right now... and they do not like to drink orange juice,my oldest does not like any juice at all! So today I have been filling little measuring medicine cups with orange juice asking if anyone would like a dose of vitamin C! It has been working! Aren't we clever?? : )

We just recently did this with putting veggies and meat on popsicle sticks. My son is obsessed with suckers and he'd eat anything on a stick! LOL

I love this trick! My picky three-year-old has eaten everything from cantaloupe to scallops because I told him they needed to be eaten with a toothpick.
