D Rose Photography Grand Opening Giveaway!!

D Rose Photography
is open for business!

To celebrate, I'm hosting a giveaway. It's simple, here's how it works:
1. Go visit D Rose Photography and have a look around
2. Come back to THIS message and leave a comment...input for my photography site, tell me which photo is your favorite, tell me what you'd like to see more of...whatever!
3. In one week, I'll draw a # from a hat (or a random number generator). If your comment# corresponds with that number, you're the big winner!

The Prize:
The print of your choice, in the size of your choice...on me! You can choose any size from note-cards on up to an 11" x 14" (depends somewhat on the picture you choose and it's resolution).

I've been working hard to put photos up for you to look at, but the selection is still fairly limited. If you see something at my Flickr site (see right sidebar on this site), let me know and I'll see what we can do to include it as a prize photo.

I hope you enjoy looking around over there - I'm sure excited to share with you!

Yay #1! Ok, there's really not too much that you would be able to do in the way of the actual page. I think if you added color to it it would take away from the photos. I think that a collage at the top of YOUR favorites would be pretty cool but I have no clue how to do that. And maybe put the details a little more noticeable, I scanned right by them without even knowing I had.
Otherwise, great work, beautiful photography and good luck =)
ps: I love the lamps one in 8.5x11

I think your new site is great, too, and looks professional. I agree that the white background is really important. Alicia's idea for a collage banner would be really cool.

I was also thinking that if someone isn't familiar with blogging, they might think that the only pictures available are the ones on the front page. They may not know to go through your archives to see all that is available. Maybe just a title above your archives that says, "Search Here for Your Favorite" or something. Just a thought.

My favorites are these:
Lamps
Water Drop
Snowy Branch
Daydreaming (with Psalm 121:1-2)

You are so talented.

I liked the holding hands with the passage under and the tulips and daffodils. All were really great, though. Loved the jpictures of the kids too.

Daiq,

My favorite picture is the first one. The two hands holding each other and the nice scripture. You sure are talented!

Hi, I am a blog/adoptive mommy friend of Becky's. I love the prints, but I have to say my most favorite is "frog".

I would love to win one. I have a little monthly give away of my own going if you are interested in playing. My blog is missy-itsawonderfullife.blogspot.com and my business site is www.aflickerofhope.org.

When I did my drawing for January, I just totaled up the number of comments I had and asked my kids to choose and number between 1 and whatever. It was easier than writing 175 names on paper :o)

Great job Daiq! I have several favorites: Idaho sky, day dreaming, tree bark, and of course the hands. The hand in hand pics are really lovely with the scriptures on them.

I think that I may not be finding all of your great pictures...I didn't see one with tulips and daffodils and I tried a search. My favorites are the first 2...with the hands and scripture :)
You have a great eye for detail...great job!

Dac-
You have such an amazing talent. I love the new website. The first pair of hands with the scripture on it is one of my favorites. I would love to see more of that sort of thing. The picture in itself is really need but the scripture just adds to it.

Love you-
Megan

I too think it's a great site, and beautiful photographs; I admire your ability to look at something mundane and see it in a new way. I loved the hands photo, the waterdrop, lamps, and a couple of the toys pictures. I also had trouble accessing all the pictures though; I never did find the tulips and daffodils someone else mentioned, and I think that will be your biggest obstacle for customers, having to really navigate around the site a lot just to see all your pictures.

Wow!! You are gifted!! I love all the photos and your new website. What amazing perspective.I collect frogs and love the little frog in the hand!!! The snowy branch is beautiful as well. Can I ask what kind of camera do you use? Blessings to you in your new venture : ) Crystal

I like all of your pictures....but I think that my favorite is the little frog. You truely have an "eye" for taking pictures. I would never think to take some of the really cool pictures that you have taken. Like the shower door and the kleenx. Very cool!!

Great photos! I found you through organizing junkie and have enjoyed reading your blog. I also love your new photography site and enjoy seeing how you take the ordinary, usual, and mundane and turn it into a work of art! Good luck! PS. I hope I win! PSS. You might possibly have the cutest baby in the universe. That smile is infectious!
