Look What I Made!!

Note Cards!

I found some pre-folded card stock at a local store, and picked them up. Then I printed off some of my recent tulip photos, did some simple embossing on the edges of the cards, and used scrapping (two sided) tape to stick the photo to the card.

They were SO much fun to make, and I think they turned out really pretty. I have to admit, I felt so very proud signing my name on the bottom back of each card :) I think that making these will be my project for quite some time.

The most fun part though, was giving them to one of my favorite people as a "just because" gift. She loves tulips, I love her...perfect match :) Aren't good friends an incredible blessing? I think so.

I've been thinking lately that a good way to sell some of my photos would be the local "Art in the Park" or farmer's market. I could sell homemade breads, muffins...and my own prints and note cards.

What do you think of them? Any ideas for making them even prettier? I'd love to hear them, so leave me a comment if you have any suggestions!

I love these! And, they're a great way to showcase your photography. I wouldn't change anything on the cards. I think the simplicity of the white and the embossing shows off the photos the best. GREAT job!

p.s. If you ever make any with Lilacs, let me know.. I'd be interested in buying them. :)

I love them too; I think the embossing adds such an elegant touch to your already pretty photos

They are so pretty!!! What a special gift. I wouldn't add a thing, they are perfectly elegant the way they are. Hey I am looking into buying a Nikon D40 any thoughts? What would you reccomend?

Hi Crystal...I don't think you can go wrong with a Nikon. I actually planned to buy one myself until I learned that Pentax had a digital SLR that would work with the lenses that I already had.

BTW - I can't reach you by clicking on "crystal"...your profile doesn't direct me to an email or your blog. Just FYI.

Happy camera shopping :)

Thanks Daiquiri, I think I will get the Nikon. My dad has a Nikon D80 and I love to play with it when he is visiting : ) I changed my profile so people can see at least one of my blogs when clicking on my profile. God Bless You!

Those are pretty enough! I love them! Especially with the small, detailed embossing on it! Makes it look more delicate. You have an amazing talent! :)
