Ok, maybe it's not worth a chorus full of angels, but I'm pretty darn excited! I FINALLY GOT A DIGITAL SLR!!!!!!!!!!!
For those of you who know me, I've been wanting to do this for years. I'm so excited to start taking pictures of all those sickeningly sweet flowers again (wink)!
I thought I had my mind made up - I was going to buy the Nikon. But then I found the Pentax K10D. I can use the 28-300 lens I already own, and it has the dust removal feature I love about the Canon AND it has the shake reduction feature I love about the Nikon. It was equal in MP, plus it has a body that is sealed so I can really use it outside without worrying about dust and water.
I was happy to have an excuse to stay up until midnight last night to play with it :)
COOL! I've always had the closet desire to be a photographer and a writer. The writer thing is not going to happen due to the teeny tiny little problem that I have no talent for it! Photography is my last hope! I have no experience and a terrible camera but I still try. I have loved taking pictures since I bought my first camera at age 11 at a garage sale. It was one of those skinny, rectangular ones with the big flash bulb on top and took 110 film. I drove my family crazy taking pictures of them.
