Desperation. And Clean Baseboards.

"Mawwwm, I'm boooored! Can I go see if Johnny can play?"
"No, it's time to play at home now. I'd like to to play with your sisters for a bit."
"Why can't I see if Johnny can play?"
"Because I want you to include your sisters."
"But why can't I go to Johnny's?"
"Benjamin, you can choose: play with your sisters, or scrub the baseboards for me."
"Arg!"

Talk about a win-win. About 5 minutes after giving him his ultimatum, Ben came up with a game that involved his sisters AND cleaning the baseboards. I now have 3 busy, happy kids...and the cleanest baseboards in the west! Gotta love that :)
