This year, Valentine's Day was simple and sweet and everything it should be: an extra hug and kiss, a clear "I love you" with a smile before school, and little love notes...just to be sure the message gets through.
Luke did such a neat thing with the kids this year. He got them each a little thing of candy, and wrote a personal love note to each of them that was tied in with the meaning of their names. The kids just seemed to stand a little taller with these words of love and encouragement from their wonderful Daddy...
It was fun to put their little treats out on the table before we went to bed...I loved the idea of them waking to proof of our love for them :-)
We got some wonderful little valentines too - filled with hand-made hearts, hand prints, and "I love you". Life is so much sweeter with these children!
One of our valentines even came through the mail! Inside, was a precious card that read "I love you as high as the sun. Sam."
My heart...it overflows...
Our boys also went to FUMC Wesleyan Pre-school -what a fabulous place. Maggie and her teachers do such a wonderful job!

This is so sweet. As I was reading this and looking at the pictures of the wonderful notes Luke wrote to the kids, all I could think was, "Wow, his handwriting has improved..."
