Struggling to blog here.
I think I might be suffering from post-event letdown (not to mention very sore legs!). I've been spending my time getting the bare necessities of housework done, lots of kiddo snuggling, and reading, reading, reading. Darn Twilight series!
My hubby is going to be taking real estate classes for the next three weeks that will leave me doing the (virtually) single parent thing for the next three weeks. Whenever he's got stuff going on, I get lonely. And therefore...you get to hear from me LOTS. About everything. And nothing. Lucky you ;)
Speaking of hubby...he just walked in the door. Hafta run. Hubby to kiss. Mmmmmm.
My Twilight Saga:
I asked my 13 year old son to borrow the first book from a friend at school.
I couldn't put it down!
I bought #2, paperback at Target... and #1 for myself because I knew I'd want to reread it.
I won a Barnes & Noble giftcard in a drawing at work - bonus! I hate buying hardcover...
I splurged on #4, also hardcover - how could I stop at #3 and the wait a the library was LONG.
1 week, worked 40+ hours, read Twilight, and slept a little in between. No cooking, no cleaning... I might have kissed my kids in there and probably my hubby... maybe.
I will have to read them again, but maybe after the kids leave the house...
I think somehow Stephenie Meyer has discovered crack in the form of written word. I too read each book in a matter of 2 days a piece...and you know how long they are! That was in between chores, work, etc that comes with normal life! They are evil. And I'm going to read them again now that I know how the series ends. This time I can slow down and enjoy since I'm not frantically reading wanting to know, "WHAT HAPPENS?!" =)
