I had a whole big thing written out and then I had to "log in" and I lost it. So I'll keep it short this time.

Daiquiri, I love what you're doing here. I tried to get in on the LDS discussion, but I home school my children and by the time we finished school for the day, you'd closed up shop.

I was raised LDS, I had my own struggles with LDS doctrine, prayfully and peacefully left the church over them about five years ago. I'm now a born again Christian, fully complete and happy in my relationship with my Father in Heaven, My Lord and Savior. I would like to help shed a little light, if I may, on the differences between the religions and why you're having such a hard time getting anywhere.

My family (11 brothers and sisters) are all still LDS and fully active, my father has served as the bishop in his ward for over seven years now. I KNOW KNOW KNOW how hard it is to have this discussion with LDS folks. It's hard on you and hard on them. If you're interested in my point of view, I'd love to share it.

I'll leave it at that for now. I know this area is supposed to be for posts about your absolutely adorable children. I have five and they are the light and joy of my life. I can tell yours are, as well. Thank you for the work you're doing here. I hope it helps someone out there who might be struggling themselves to figure it all out.

Awww... love that second video of Thomas. It's so fun to catch them quietly playing like that. You can just see the learning taking place! Give him hugs from me!
