Photography: "Project Looking Through II"

The more I looked around at other people's posts, the more I realized that I had some other photos in my files that would work for this "Project Looking Through." I was thinking that there might be a future project on reflections...but I'm going to go ahead and use these now anyway. I suppose they could be titled..."Looking Through, In A Roundabout Way."

This shot is one of my all time favorites. I was doing an impromptu photo shoot of my older kids back in January. I just had them stand by a window, and started shooting. When Ben looked up to the big puffy clouds, I could hardly believe what I saw reflected in his beautiful blues! It reminds me of the verse:

I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2

When winter rolls around, we like to decorate our windows with paper snowflakes. This shot is of a plant that had light shining on it...through the snowflake on the nearby window (Taken January 2008).

I got this great new mixer for Christmas, and was having fun looking for recipes I could use it for. I like how the cookbook is reflected in the shiny new bowl. To me, it speaks of all sorts of yummy possibilities! (January 2008)

I love this shot because of the "Mr Bubble" bottle reflected in the tub faucet. With the kids' bright bath toys in the background, it just reminds me of fun and bubbly bath time at our house. (January 2008)

There are some neat photos out there... head on over to Mark's site to check them out!

I'm loving your pictures. My favorite is the Mr. Bubble looking through the faucet in the last shot.

Wow! You have some talent. They were all awesome. I think my fav is the leaf one w/ the paper snowflake peeking through.
